With all the news of pet food concerns and what treats to feed our pets in the news, BlogPaws announces a very special guest at our June 22nd lunch in Salt Lake City, Utah.
BlogPaws's Gold Sponsor, Hill's, welcomes Dr. Daniel Aja, DVM, to BlogPaws to share his knowledge on Pet Nutrition. During the luncheon, BlogPaws attendees can ask questions and engage with Dr. Aja in this very special pet nutrition session.
Woo-hoo! I got an email from the Slideshare editorial team that one of the presentations from BlogPaws 2010 West was being featured on the Slideshare Pets Page today!
In addition to featuring this one, I found two more of our presentations in the Pets section: Jane Harrell's (from Petfinder.com) with her 4 Step Tool Kit for shelters, and our own BlogPaws co-founder Yvonne DiVita's on writing essentials (this is Tom, btw, and that's my girl!).
A couple of weekends ago I attended (and presented at) the great conference for pet bloggers - BlogPaws West. My co-worker, Chelsea Latimer, attended with me, and we both agree it was an incredible experience. The event was well-planned at a pet-friendly hotel in downtown Denver. I actually felt relaxed throughout the conference - not something you typically feel at business conferences, as I'm sure many of you know.
Search is actually a powerful tool for bloggers and publishers, online. There are many tools that can help you understand the value of a visitor's "search" for content on your site, adding to the knowledge of how well you are serving those readers.
Our company, Lijit, is sponsoring BlogPaws West and will be available to answer questions about search and how it works for you, as well as demonstrating how our tool does search. But, today, I thought I'd introduce you to how search works on a blog.
I'd love to just keep chatting about BlogPaws and our pets and all the fun, and Be the Change, but meanwhile, all around us, life goes on.
One of the things we created BlogPaws for was to help bloggers get better at blogging. And, the truth is we could all use some help. Even those of us who have been blogging for years don't know it all. It's humanly impossible to "know it all."
