I'm really hoping I can make your next Pet Blogging Conference. It really sounds amazing! Thanks for the tips. I'm always trying to think of good titles for my posts!

Some really good advice--as always!--from BlogPaws. Thanks so much.

Robbi

Great advice... especially the importance of a good headline and also the need to get out of the house and network with fellow pet lovers/bloggers.

mariodacat

Very interesting and helpful post. Thanks. Wish I were going to the conference.

Carol Bryant

Thanks - the conference is going to be phenomenal!

Sarah Troupis

It is great when I come up with a good title for a post. Of course, that great feeling is countered when I can only come up with a lame post title.

I really just need a newspaper headline person to work for me. For free. I am guessing there won't be many takers on that one.

*****clapping paws***** SUPERB!!!

Hey Sarah, A little trick I have tried is to write a headline I'd want to read on say, a favorite magazine. Think of them as callouts and not headlines is another trick.

"Why I like sleeping with my dog" doesn't pack as much punch as "Why I Kept the Dog and Lost the Man" --- or something along those lines ;)

AND ty Caren G!!! ;) smiles!

This blog is great. I realy like it!

ShopChippmunk

Great article Carol, thanks for sharing these tips!

Question: Do you have any advice on visual media for blog posts? How do you best support the written blog post with a compelling image than enhances your message?

Thanks!

Krista

OK! That does it..you officially inspired me to go to the Blogpaws conference, and get better at being a blogger..Thanks for the info and the savvy advice.

TheWinstonBlog

I wish I could attend the BlogPaws conference, but sadly I live on the other side of the pond. Someone send me the minutes!

Joan DeMartin

Great post Carol! As usual, chocked full of great info for blogger...and coming up with a great post title is more than half the fun!
