This week oh-so-very much gave us pause and time to reach out, give back, and remember that no matter who we are or what we do, Mother Nature and her wrath can change things in the blink of an eye.
BlogPaws celebrates pet bloggers who come together to help during times of crises and get the word out: Animals need us, we are their voice after all. WIth that, if you have a post that went live this week or wish to share information about helping pets and their families who were/are/continue to be affected by Hurricane Sandy, here's your place... read on:
BlogPaws and World Vets have created the first ever Bloggers Disaster Response Network. On October 25, 2012 BlogPaws, World Vets and Dr. V (Jessica Vogelsang) announced The Blogger Disaster Response Network. Together, and with the help of all the bloggers who join the network, we will make a huge positive impact for animals everywhere when disaster strikes. Dr. V's personal endorsement can be read here, and you can sign up here.
If you have a thread or a post on your blog AND/OR you know of a microblogger (yourself perhaps) that posted on Twitter or Facebook --- please feel free to share here. We encourage all disaster tips,
preparation information, first aid response, and anything else related to before, during, or after disaster strikes.
Pet bloggers and microbloggers unite, make your voice heard and share your information/posts below.

I've been sharing some powerful images of rescue on my Facebook page. There have been so many moving photos emerging from this tragedy. And it's these photos that have been getting the most attention and heartfelt sentiments from readers.
