I see this -- BlogPaws Social Media Conference Adds Track for Veterinarians -- trending a bit (in the BlogPaws' window on our
homepage pulling in our Twitter mentions) so I thought I would chime in.
We were approached after BlogPaws East to create something for veterinarians and their staff. This is an underserved market when it comes to social media, and since it's a big part of the pet community - all pet parents take their "kids" to the Dr. regularly, right? - we embraced the idea.
As the article on Veterinary Practice News reports, "The aim of the Vet Track is to serve as a resource for veterinarians to learn more about getting their practice on the Web and how social media is used to positively affect their practice."
We will be posting the relevant info on this track, along with our Program At A Glance for the general conference, and more exciting BlogPaws West news, very soon... on the New and Updated BlogPaws site!
Coming Soon to an Internect connection near you!
p.s. If you are too curious to wait, or have specific questions on the Veterinary Track at BlogPaws West, please contact Yvonne or Caroline -- we are available to answer your questions or connect you to Heather and/or Janet... the real forces behind this outstanding idea.

This is great news! Looking forward to following it.

Oh that is so cool. Maybe I can convince my sister (she is a DVM PhD student) to come too? Will have to call her tonight to see how that fits in her school schedule.
