Get to know yet another well-connected and well-respected member of the BlogPaws VIP (Very Important Pawsun) Team ...
1) Tell us your name, your blog, what it's about and why you do it.
Janet Tobiassen Crosby DVM. My main blog is Veterinary Medicine . I also blog at K9Cuisine and my sometimes-updated personal blog, AboutVetMed.com. I started training at About.com (then the Mining Company) at the end of 1998. Those were the days before blogs, but I gradually morphed into blogging over the years.
2) What do you hope to gain/get from attending BlogPaws? (Is this your first blogging conference?)
This is my first blogging conference. I count on meeting some fun, cool and web savvy people as well as learning some new Wordpress tips.3) How far are you coming - cross the city, cross the state, cross the country? Are you bringing your pet?
Across the country, so the pets will enjoy staying home for this one.
4) Whom do you want to meet most, at BlogPaws?
I am looking forward to meeting so many fun people. Even people I haven't heard about yet. <g> I am also looking forward to meeting my Twitter vet friends (DrV and VetLovingPetsHB/Dr Hill) and Anthony of K9Cuisine. We have worked on a couple charity projects together - DrV's shelter blogathon and the recent Hounds for Haiti auctions, so it will be fun to finally meet up. I am also excited to finally meet my About.com colleague, Jenna Stregowski, RVT, Guide to Dogs, who I talked into coming to Blogpaws!
5) Sign off by telling us what topic your pet would talk about at the conference, if he or she could talk and even wanted to talk.Argos the Greyhound would roooo and play bow with excitement.
Sophie would politely ask if anyone has any spare cheese. She knows even if you are merely thinking about cheese.
Barnie the cat would discreetly paw at people and pets as they pass by.
(all mentioned pets are featured on my blog )
Be sure to register today so you can enjoy meeting Dr. Janet in person at BlogPaws 2010!

You certainly have some great speakers at this meeting. I hope there will be reports about the speeches and all that goes on at the conference. I can't wait to hear all about it.
