1) Tell us your name, your blog, what it's about and why you do it.
I'm Edie Jarolim, and my blog is WillMyDogHateMe.com. I started it just about a year ago as a way to find an audience for what was then my upcoming book, Am I Boring My Dog, but like most blogs it took on a life of its own. The name, incidentally, is short for "Will My Dog Hate Me If I Dress Him?" --- another title I was considering for my book. I'm hoping people will behave responsibly but not worry that their dogs are judging them, so my blog is a guilt-free some for good dog owners.
2) How is your expertise relevant to the pet people attending BlogPaws? (Is this your first blogging conference?)
3) How far are you coming - cross the city, cross the state, cross the country? Are you bringing your pet?
I'm coming from Tucson, Arizona, and would have loved to bring my dog, Frankie, but he's a media star and prefers to avoid the puparazzi.
4) Whom do you want to meet most, at BlogPaws?
I can't reveal that because I plan to tell everyone at the conference that I decided to attend because I specifically wanted to meet them, thus making as many people as possible like me.
5) Sign off by telling us what topic your pet would talk about at the conference, if he or she could talk and even wanted to talk.
Frankie would like to discuss teletransportation. he is convinced that when I close the bathroom door I am being beamed to another universe, and he is interested in exploring the physics behind this phenomenon.

I'm very excited to be coming to BlogPaws and I must have been distracted by my inspiration, Frankie, when I wrote this profile. I neglected to mention what I could offer the conference rather than what I expected to get from it. Take, take, take!
So... I've been in publishing for ages -- as a travel book editor in New York and London and as the author of three travel guides and numerous magazine and newspaper articles, before I wrote my dog book -- and have been observing the changes in publishing first hand. That's what I'll bring to the publishing panel. See... it's not all about me and Frankie.

Edie is the best! I love her blog and terrific sense of humor. Hi Edie. I'm so glad I'll finally get to meet you at Blogpaws (yeah!) thanks to Tom and a generous sponsorship from Pedigree. I'm buzzing with anticipation.
