Not to hit people over the head or anything (or maybe take'em by the pant leg? grrrrrr!!!!) but BlogPaws is a happening conference, and it's coming up fast! (the pic is me holding Pandor, otherwise known as Wabby Wibby, as she proofs this post - she thinks she's an English teacher!)
Rooms are priced at only $99 a night, you can get yours now...here... But, this post isn't about your travel, although maybe it should be. I hear that travel issues are the #1 reason some folks are hesitating (hey, remember - he who hesitates is lost! It goes right along with: all things come to those who wait; just so you know some sayings are outright silly!)...But, in the end, he who hesitates doesn't get a king-sized bed. For sure!
This post is actually about the fun and learning and networking we're all going to do on April 9th and 10th, at the 1st ever pet bloggers' conference in the U.S. The world, I think! LOL
I've been doing a bit of twittering, hence, my high spirits today. The pet people on twitter are just the best! And lots of them are coming to BlogPaws! Can't wait to meet our speakers, our attendees, our sponsors, and our event planners - like, Elisabeth, who is working with us, and is super!
And why is all this positive energy flowing from pet people? I think it's because we know how to cherish the good things in life - that would be friends, family, our pets, our kids, our twitter groups, and our blogs. Seriously, I will admit that many, many of my BFFs come from my connections in social media.
I call them BBFFs - best blogging friends forever. Each one has been wildly encouraging about this conference. Each one has expressed the desire to be there - and regret if they can't be. Each one has gone out of his or her way to help out, somehow.
That's what pet people do. That's what bloggers do. That's why I'm excited about BlogPaws and why I hope those of you who want to be there but have questions or issues, will contact us and open a dialogue on how we can help you participate. For instance, someone mentioned wanting a list to try and find a roommate - excellent idea! We'll get on that.
I also hear we have a bunch of attendees bringing pets! Now, there's a great reason to be at BlogPaws - to meet all your best blogger friends forever's pets! (say that three times fast - betcha can't!)
And, if you have topics you'd like us to cover here, on the blog, suggest away! We live to serve!

I am coming to BlogPaws! Can't wait to meet everyone.
Living in the moment,
Animal lover Amelia

The platforms are aimed at two different sets of people. If you want ease-of-use on a hosted platform, TypePad may be a good solution for you. If you want infinite control over every aspect of your installation and templates, perhaps WordPress should be your platform of choice.
